There will be three major parts to the 2023 Venice Biennale: the National Pavilions, the main international exhibition featuring participants chosen by the curator, and the Auxiliary Events. This year’s show will feature 63 National Participations, with 27 in the Giardini, 22 in the Arsenale, and 14 in Venice’s downtown area.

The Collateral Events, accepted by the curator and supported by non-profit national and foreign organizations, are held in various locations and feature various donations and engagements that add to the diversity of voices that distinguishes the 2023 Venice Biennale.

The Arsenale and Giardini venues in Italy will host this year’s exhibition, which will focus on the theme “The Laboratory of the Future,” beginning on Saturday, May 20, and running through Sunday, November 26, 2023.
