Paper-made Tropical Jungle | Mlle Hipolyte

Paper-made Tropical Jungle

Creativity has its own language that does not depend on such materialistic things. Infact, restrictions most often bring out the best of all innovations. This has been aptly proved by French artist Mlle Hipolyte who used colored paper to portray ‘Tropical Jungle’.

With Tropical Jungle, Hipolyte created a mural showing the flora and fauna typically found in forests. He used complex compositions of different colored paper to replicate the effect of ‘Jungle’. Trees, plants as well as flowers, all were meticulously composed.

High level of patience as well as excellence could easily be felt in various components of mural. Whether it be a three-dimensional red panda, birds like parrot or panther, each one has a potential to draw attention while complementing whole installation.

Mlle took six hours to create this wall-hung installation and the detail he has been able to instill in each element without overpowering others is a mark of a true genius who knows his craft well. Hopefully, his future work will act as an inspiration and will continue to prove that its not the scale of the project, rather the idea that conceives greatness.
