Interactive Light Projections |Sober Industries and Studio Rewind

Sober Industries and Studio Rewind developed the Welcome to the Future installation in 2011. The installation of animal light displays included a wooden owl and rhinoceros. The wooden surfaces of these sculptures captured futuristic shapes and patterns projected onto them.

During an outdoor exhibit at Rotterdamse Museumnacht in 2011, visitors could control the projected visuals by tilting a motion sensor and selecting different lighting options. The transforming light patterns kept audiences entertained with the feeling that the creatures were alive and moving.
