The Copenhagen Arena 3XN

3XN office was one of three teams reached the finalists in the competition for the design of the new multi-purpose arena in Copenhagen. Originally, the jury selected 5 teams based on the 41 applicant teams to the competition, but today, this field was reduced to consist of only 3XN, C.F Møller and Foster and Partners. These teams will now have the opportunity to develop their design proposals, after which the final decision falls in late summer.

The winning design for the Copenhagen Arena is the one proposed by 3XN, the design combines two key ambitions: to create state of the art and flexible multi-purpose arena that can attract spectators from near and far, while ensuring that the building’s presence will be a win for the entire neighborhood.
