Dubai Underwater Hotel | Deep Ocean Technology
Dubai Underwater Hotel by Deep Ocean Technology: If we are talking about the future, then it’s no surprise that this amazing futuristic hotel is being built in Dubai, this conceptual design that is set to change the hotel industry and the vacationing experience in the Middle East.
The Water Discus Hotel designed by the architectural innovators over at Deep Ocean Technology is made up of a series of sci-fi styled discs above and below water, one of these discs will be positioned 21 stories underwater, while the central tower adjoins a saucer-shaped space approximately five to seven meters above sea level with another mobile one that is generally stationed about ten meters underwater.
The disc is composed of 21 hotel rooms adjacent to the underwater dive centre and a bar. Each room is integrated with the underwater world as closely as possible, offering a surprisingly direct, yet safe contact with the local flora and fauna.
Special lighting system of the area around the room and the miniature underwater vehicles which can be operated from inside will allow you to take a closer look at even the most microscopic underwater creatures using macro photography. We also ensure that our guests can protect their privacy whenever necessary. All rooms are sound-proof and have curtains of different levels of transparency.
The lower deck has the ability to resurface above water in the event of an emergency, which is demonstrated in the project’s. Otherwise, guests can enjoy one of the twenty-one suites in the lower disc that offers comfort with the additional visual benefit of the natural marine environment. The above-water disc is comprised of a restaurant, spa, a special recreation area and a multifunctional lobby that is built inside an enormous swimming pool.
