The tower, which will be home to offices and luxury apartments for business users and executives, is visually inspired by ancient Chinese building techniques based in versatility and temporality. Its multi-faceted facade is conceived as a surface of many which will change according to weather and lighting conditions. This contemporary translation of the traditional is meant to create a building which is both enticing to the world at large as well as understandable to local residents who will see it every day.
