I remember when I was kid I loved playing with my dad’s cassette tapes. Oah ya.. I also remember “Dolly Dots” the 1st band I loved, thanks to my dads constant playing of them. I remembered all those nice memories when I looked at Benoit Jammes art collection. Jammes is a French artist who has reinvented his old cassette tapes in such amazing way, his collection has brought me a nostalgic feeling integrating glimpses of those old days.

Jammes’s pieces of art are so fun. There is a cassette tape that has been transformed appealing like a squeezed orange. Another is like a piece of dripping nickelodeon slime. There are feelings of anger and destruction with blood stained across one framed tape. And yet another expresses a sense of humor with bleeped out suggestive sexual connotation.
