Insulation – Isokorb® Steel to Steel | Schöck
Use: Balconies, parapets, canopy roofs.
Applications: Construction.
Characteristics: Load-bearing, range of types for different connections, energy efficiency.
Schöck group supplies acoustic and thermal insulation solutions internationally. Thermal bridges on cantilevers often lead to increased heat loss, damp walls, and mold formation.

The Schöck Isokorb® T type S is a load-bearing thermal insulation element for connecting cantilevered steel elements to steel structures in new construction or renovation projects. Steel constructions can be realized, and penetrating support structures such as canopy roofs, frame system crossbars or balconies, can be reliably separated and thermal bridges resolved.
Flexible Application
The Schöck Isokorb® T type S for steel constructions is comprised of the modules S-V and S-N for tension, compression and moment forces. The quantity and layout at the connections are dictated by the load and the size of the profiles used.
The modular design of the Schöck Isokorb® T type S ensures that it can be adapted to all profile sizes and load-bearing capacity requirements.
Benefits
- Easy installation: Bolted end plate connections – for all common steel profiles
- Modular design: Separate insulation spacers allow for height adjustment on site
- Stainless steel: High load-bearing capacity and reliable thermal insulation
- Versatile: Can be used in new buildings, renovation projects, and special applications.
