Portsaid Heritage has been under the water siege where no extension could be made but vertically which threated the unique architectural heritage and Identity of the city. People may forget how the city was human once upon a time. The MOPAH is an attempt to document how the city looked like, as a way of saving the architectural and urban heritage of the city through interactive and non-interactive technology. The Museum mainly targets teenagers – aging from 12 to 20, as they can easily accept new ideas easily, such as Identity and loyalty for the city heritage.

Vision:
Setting up generation who is aware of the architectural heritage of their own city and how to protect, preserve and understand it.

Concept: –
The city is divided into three main districts: Alfranj, Port Fouad and Alarab and they are completely contrasted. So, the museum represents such contrast with another one, the conceptual mass is contrasted with the entire masses in Port Said. So, it can leave its visual print in the new city. The museum should be identified as a landmark and belongs to the current ultra-modern styles with their technology era.

Location: –
The site is between Port Fouad suburbs and The New city. The museum is in the end of promenade, so the water leads you directly to the entrance. The museum is a transaction point between the old historical city and the new CBD. Port Fouad is currently almost unoccupied. The museum should make a Bilbao effect in the city to change the urban morphology to be an open air museum instead of an abandoned residential district.
Concept Evolution: –
– Circle to be seen from different points of view.
– Crack to split the Geometries into two (Alarab + Alafrannj) and (Port Fouad +CBD).
– Water intervention (Simulates Suez Canal Water flow)
– Adjusting the shell to Fit the interior spaces.
