“LF-LC is part concept, part reality. The concept hints at what’s to come from Lexus while the reality has us actively studying how we can engineer and build a vehicle like this in the future,” explains Lexus Australia Chief Executive Tony Cramb.
It makes an appearance at the 2012 Sysney auto show with its brilliant color. It’s carbon fiber exterior gets an Opal Blue exterior paint said to be inspired by a semi-precious opal stone found in the Australian outback. But this car is more than just a paint job as it hides some important technical advancements under its skin. One important feature is the battery pack, “which has been upgraded to a very high-density, lightweight job, packing five times the energy density of a current production battery.
” What is exciting is that this car was never made for production but it seems dealers and consumers have loved it so much Lexus has announced there is a 50-50 chance it will put this car in production.
