Collider Activity Centre | GAP Architects

Collider Activity Centre needs to be a dynamic, multi-dimensional space.GAP Architects consider that with their proposal as shown in the undulating façade. Collider Activity Centre would house a myriad of activities for all ages and of different natures. It is meant to be a one-stop-shop for all kinds of activities under one roof, and provide many options for people wanting to engage in activity. Being such an active place, the form calls to be engaging and the spaces need to be adventurous.

GAP Architects’ proposal deals with the fact that the site is meant for activity, meaning it needs to be engaging on the inside but also formally engaging to entice the community to come in and be active.
Its amoebic form speaks to the organic nature of a space this large that would have to accommodate different activities and different people of all ages.
