Bendigo Art Gallery
Fender Katsalidis Architects designed this Bendigo Art Gallery’s internal refurbishment and also helped expand its architectural footprint.
The internal galleries were designed as flexible white box environments, indirectly lighting from the roof-top light scoops, counter pointing the ornate environments of the galleries.
The dramatic steel cube of the new Pavilion Gallery makes a strong visual statement with the recycled timber contrasted with rust-red Corten steel.
