Nature Concert Hall Pavilion by DJA

This pavilion has designed by the designers of Didzis Jaunzemes Architecture (DJA) for the “nature’s concert hall” annual event in Gauja National Park of Latvia that lets people getting closer to the environment and helps them understand it. So the concept of this construction is to aware visitors feel the beauty of nature by unifying space, light, video and music.

The geometrical shape and the volumetric module system of the pavilion are combined with the surrounded nature elements. It covers an area for academic symphonic chamber orchestra of 20 people and Nature Concert Hall music band.

Detail

The elevations are made from rotated vertical fabric bars, which help acoustics to reach all audience perfectly, and therefore they create closeness and transparency. They are also used as a screen for video and light.
