Derek Pearce has created some beautiful tables collection Called ‘Water Tables’, he designed coffee tables that portray animals “floating through water”. Pearce portrayed a diverse range of animals including ducks and hippos, he designs the tables so the animals would be plunging in and out of the glass, which represents the water’s surface. These ‘furniture sculptures’ are made from tempered glass with animals either carved from wood or cast from resin. Derek’s ‘Water Tables’ have been exhibited and sold across the globe and you can even commission your own special water table by Pearce. Derek also recently launched an online store where you can purchase his more popular designs with the base made from resin.
