Wood-spot | Alessandro Zambelli

Alessandro Zambelli has created a series he calls “ Wood-spot ” which is a synthesis of materials, light and shade. The new work by the designer is a table lamp is assembled and varnished entirely by hand. Joined to the shaped support are a base and a light diffuser, both in pine with a natural finish. The three colors he used for the diffuser are ivory white, flesh pink and pastel green. The base of the project is like a photo frame where it sits at an angle.

Wood-spot

The profile of the object is highly unusual because it stands out. This is an iconic shape that forces itself on space. It might seem as a figment of the imagination but it is completely anchored in a substance reality. Wood-spot concurrently surprises , fascinates and enchants because it hides something puzzling within itself. This farsighted synthesis of material, light, and shade blurs the limits of everything.
