We were surfing the web for ideas for recycling projects when we came across this art installation by Beijing-based artist Wang Zhiyuan. A 36-Foot Tall Whirlwind of Garbage constructed of various types of plastic waste. Wang Zhiyuan’s piece comes from the concept that all the trash is being swept away, up into the air by a whirlwind. It’s also called Thrown to the Wind, with the reality in mind that we are all living in trash on Earth.
