Unusual Trailer for New Bjarke Ingels Documentary ‘BIG TIME’

After starring in one episode of Netflix’s Abstract: The Art of Design, Danish starchitect Bjarke Ingels is getting more screen time with the new documentary ‘BIG TIME’. A trailer for the anticipated film has been released, and it is not your usual thing. Surely, it does start out with optimistic and ambitious statements and mottos, but then it seems to delve into the architect’s personal life and into talks about concussion and headaches. After that, the trailer shows the architect getting MRI scan, and it comes to an end with Ingels’ mysterious final words, “If this is where I suddenly become unable to contribute meaningfully you almost could just lie down and wait for everything to be over.” So, the world of architecture now is quite excited about the prospect of seeing what is literally inside the head of one of the world’s most creative minds. The film will be released in the Copenhagen Architecture Festival on the 26th of April 2017.
