The Parametric Table | Denis Homaykov

The parametric table is a great creation by Denis Homaykov. The curves of this exquisite piece of furniture rise and fall creating an interesting undulating form. In order to precisely design the individual units, Homaykov used parametric design; which is simply a computer aided design. Computer software’s replaced the drawing boards offering accurate computations, visualization, remodeling and ease to upgrade the design in a quick and precise manner. The impressive design of the wavy shaped wooden coffee tables reflects the benefits of this methodology and illustrates the imagination and creativity of the designer. The table has two prevailing characteristics; the twisted plane and the laminated configuration. It can be used either in the upright or in the invert position; having four or five rounded edges on which a toughened glass board rests. The impressive shape and the versatile design of the table enable the user to benefit from it indoor and outdoor.
