When you hear the phrase ”Tech Tats”, you would think it’s a new extension to the world of tattoos; actually, it’s not. Tech tats are the only way to have your bio and vital tests right at home. “This would be implemented by securely storing data on a skin mounted microcontroller and transferring the data when the user specifies based on a gesture or fingerprint on a tap to pay style device,” Lamm explains. It’s a tool that enables you to do without going to the doctor, as simple as sticking a bandage to your body but much complex in its work. It contains an ATiny85 microcontroller that connects data received from biosensors, basically a board with chips & thin circuits made of electric paint on top of your skin. The current model has temperature and ambient light sensors but expected to add more vital-reading sensors in future models such as heart rate sensors and so. Though not expected to hit the markets soon Chaotic Moon Studios ensure that the device will fall into a reasonable price range. Definitely, the coolest looking bio-wearable made so far. I know for sure we could use one of these Tech Tats here since it’s a common fact in my country that people don’t trust doctors. It would be a great place to start if physical tests can be done in the comfort of their homes.
