Richard Meier & Partners commercial LEED Platinum building in Czech Republic

Newest office building company Skanska’s project City Green Court. Flexible and environmentally friendly office building is located in one of the most accessible parts of Prague 4 – Pankrác on the corner of Pujmanové and Hvězdova, rich in amenities in the area.

During the development of City Green Court has given particular attention to energy efficiency and reducing carbon dioxide emissions. According to the plan is the construction of City Green Court in accordance with the American standard of LEED. City Green Court by Richard Meier & Partners  as the first office building in the Czech Republic won the Pre-certification of LEED Platinum. LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) is an international certification system for green buildings developed by the U.S. by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Classifies buildings according to their design, construction and operation process takes into account environmental friendliness.

According to Skanska internal tool for green building and development – the so-called Skanska Color Palette, whose key environmental criteria are: energy, carbon dioxide, water and materials, is a project of City Green Court assessed as Green.
