Renault KWID off road car | Renault

Renault, the French automobile manufacture designed a concept of an off road car with a drone quad-copter. They call this concept the KWID . This “flying companion” can be controlled in one of the two modes. One of the mode options is the automatic mode that uses a pre programmed flying sequence and GPS coordinates, which enables the copter to be controlled using a tablet with in the vehicle. This companion would ideally be used for purposes that include monitoring traffic ahead, taking pictures of landscapes and detecting obstacles on the road of travel.This concept, KWID, is said to be Z.E. ready that would offer a program to receive batteries for electric use. It would also come with a charging plug from the rear of the main logo of the company in the front grille. The automobile would be fueled by a 1.2 liter turbocharged engine with a dual clutch transmission for low fuel intake for off road driving. The control center would be the tablet that also controls the copter. This tablet also acts as the dashboard to access information about the vehicle.By:Andreas Papazafeiropoulos
