Quetzalcoatl Mosaic | Colette Crutcher, Mark Roller, Aileen Barr

Quetzalcoatl, the serpent god of Mesoamerica, is represnted in mosaic-clad cement at 24th St. Minipark in San Francisco, CA. THe handmade tile and mosaic ornamentation was designed and fabricated by Mark Roller, Colette Crutcher and Aileen Barr. The playground, including a water feature at the center of the serpent’s spiral, was designed by architect Martha Ketterer.
