Photo Drips, I believe Markus Linnenbrink’s work explains itself as he explores color and texture in his artwork. The background consists of a photograph that peeks through the paint lines covering it revealing certain areas and hiding others allowing the mind to piece together the image.
The paint lines are made from pigment-tinted epoxy resin that create raised ridges to enhance the depth of each artwork. The final result ends up becoming dream-like or that of a faded memory slowly being covered up and possibly forgotten.
