PATELLA LAMPSHADE by Cut&Paste
Cut & Paste features this patella to show off in Milan 2012. The lampshade has been created by translating some Arabian motifs into patterns, print it, cut it and then overlaying strips of this etched paper. When you see it from the outside it looks like a huge neutral white shad, the result is to create a soft lighting effect that emanates from the special texture obtained in the paper.
“The result is to create a soft lighting effect that emanates from the special texture obtained in the paper, inspired by the decorative Arabian motifs found in the Palazzo Abatellis.”
