The only way to really describe this is perhaps through a narrative. You walk to the courtyard which you have passed through time and again. This time however, it seems that your way is blocked by some group of dishwashers who have inconsiderately filled this courtyard with their tables while they mop the floor before going home.
You think ‘Well, there is an open path, but why don’t I try and get through? I’m thin.’ So off you go and as you suck in your breath to get past the first disk, you gently bump it, setting it and its pencil thin stand swaying on its base. Its sway impacts another adjacent disk which also begins to move, ever so slightly. You you push on, now firm in your knowledge that not only will you get through, but you’ll probably have a hell of a good time doing it, time and again.
