Missile Toss + Fence Vaulter | Banksy

Let’s hear it for the Olympics. I, like every other previously uninterested person I’ve spoken with, have become thoroughly engrossed in the events. Not that I’m sitting around wondering if Phelps will get his 20th gold or anything, but the games themselves- well it’s easy to forget how enjoyable it is to watch people that are just f@#&ing amazing at what they’ve trained all their lives to do, compete.

The London Olympics being in London, means- lucky for us- that UK artist Banksy has produced two new works commenting on the games. They come in the midst of a debate about whether or not to remove graffiti prior to the games. Banksy himself is at the centre of this debate, his works being one of the major attractions the city has to offer.
