Fluid, seemingly too thin are the forms of ‘Medu’, a table by designer Itai Bar-On. Appearing as if made from the folding and pinching of very thick slabs of clay, this table is made through a process innovated by the studio to produce high quality, ‘bent-concrete’ forms. It is, along with other works by Itai, inspired by the transition between rough and soft, industrial and natural. The table is available in either a rough or a smooth finished surface.
