First thing first, the P1 McLaren car is a beautiful carved masterpiece. Its front facade with its signature log lights makes the car look as though it is flashing us all a mischievous grin, and to be fair, the P1 has much to smile about. This car can accelerate from 0-100kph in a blink, if it takes you 3 seconds to blink. It can go from 0-200kph (124 mph) in under 7 seconds and from 0-300kph (186 mph) in 17 seconds before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 350kph (217 mph).
It does this all on a 3.8-litre V8 engine with two turbos supported by a small electric motor with a battery pack. This car knows it’s worth too, with only 375 cars to be made, each will come with a hefty $1.3 million price tag insuring the car “will remain a rarity and, if spotted on the road, an unforgettable sight.”

Born and raised in Ukraine, she holds a Master’s degree in Languages from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Her deep passion for architecture and visual storytelling led her to transition from translation and editorial roles into the world of design media. With a keen eye for conceptual clarity and narrative structure, Anastasia curates and presents global architectural projects with precision and flair. She is particularly drawn to parametric and digital design, cultural context, and emerging voices in architecture. When I’m not analyzing the latest architectural trends, you’ll probably find me searching for hidden gems in cityscapes or appreciating the beauty of well-crafted spaces. After all, great design—like great connections—can be found in the most unexpected places. Speaking of connections, because architecture isn’t the only thing that brings people together.
