Luna Lamp

Acorn Studio is on the verge of breaking through the market with the “Luna lamp”, directed to meetbring the moon into the homes of those who can’t see it due to restrictions from skyscrappers. The lamp is made of glass fiber and non-toxic latex. The lamp ranges from 3.2-inch diameter XXS to the 23.6-inch XXL. Inspired by the moon, the artwork hopes to bring more delight and content into the everyday life of its users. To help hanging the lamps, they have rings on top of the surface where nylon strings can be used to create the effect that it is floating in the air. Each of the different sizes of the lamps comes with a device to help decide the luminosity of the lamp. The smallest lamp comes equipped with an LED bulb and a battery instead of the Halogen bulb and cord. As the smallest lamp is not suitable for hanging so it doesn’t come with an adjustable luminosity control. The quality control department has worked rigorously to keep the production at its best and minimize the problems and improve texture and feel of the object tenfold. This lamp is long lasting, energy efficient and at the same time stable. Even though the cost of LED is more than the Halogen bulbs, the company’s policy is to introduce something in the market which will not only stay there for a long time but in the end make the user satisfied. Acorn Studio want to redefine the relationship between humans and spaces, and continue to improve and fulfill the needs of the user. The policy of the studio is to bring people pleasure, satisfaction and amazement, which is expressed through there over the top artwork. By: Muhammad Umair Siddiqui
