A part of a rapidly growing field of inflatable architecture, often dubbed ‘bubbletechture’, the inflatable pool house by AirClad is a great, quirky take on the pool-side structure. A lightweight solar shade, it has no doors or extra enclosure and only needs to be pumped up and there it is! A great poolside venue for re;axing or partying.
Matt Davis is a Virginia Tech graduate and one of the founding editors behind Arch2O. Launching the platform in mid‑2012 alongside fellow Hokies, he helped shape its identity as an international hub for design innovation and critical dialogue .
