M50 is an innovative project in Shanghai that was designed by the notable international firm Heatherwick Studio and is still under construction. The project, which is an addition to the urban topography of the area, was designed for the developing main arts district in Shanghai, and it is expected to open in 2018. Resembling two mountains covered with trees, the buildings comprise 1000 structural columns as well as 400 terraces.
The vlogging architects Kris Provoost and Wahyu Pratomo lately shot a magnificent drone video of the 300,000 square meter building and posted it on their YouTube channel #donotsettle. The stimulating one-minute film that was shot using a DJI Mavic Pro drone, displays the nearly-finished multi-use urban project.

The video reveals the entire 15-acre construction site while focusing on the progress with the shorter of the two buildings. The drone sneaked a peek at what is going on at the top of the undulating urban structure. We can see some of the freshly planted trees which are aimed to reach 1000, as well as the air conditioning units.
