“Drift” Pavilion | Snarkitecture

Designed by Snarkitecture for 8th Design Miami. Drift is an inflatable pavilion made out of several hundred inflatable tubes to create a cavernous space, lacking any actual solid structure. Resembling stalactites, the high ceilings of the pavilion prevent the space from feeling overwhelming, while providing easy circulation for guests.

A courtyard lounge area is equipped with long, tubular seating that closely mirrors the floating tubes, creating areas of respite for visitors to the event.
