The intriguing cracked egg by Ingo Maurer was initially a ceramic table lamp in 1996. Since then it has inspired a new architectural project that welcomes visitors to enter a massive oval-shaped venue.

The eye-catching structure is set to be built at Art Park in Inhotim, Brazil, and will possess a futuristic space, much like a sci-fi film. Maurer comments that “The egg shape, perfect and beautiful, is a recurring element in my work.”
