Cloud Caitlind r.c. Brown
Caitlind Brown is an artist from Calgary, Alberta, who created this large-scale light installation named “Cloud” to be presented at the annual multi-city late-night arts festival (Nuit Blanche) in Calgary this year. The installation invites its visitors to interact by pulling the cords and turning the lights on and off !! This electric Cloud is made of steel, metal pull strings, and 6,000 light bulbs, that turn waste into art (only one in every six light bulbs actually needs to glow). The idea being that instead of wasting bulbs by throwing them away they would be put to a better, and more creative use, by turning trash in to treasure, and waste into art.
