Boutique Cinema at Windsor, the boutique cinema at Windsor is the first of its kind in Hong Kong. The cinema includes three houses of 250 seats total that offer a stylish yet homely design in a premier location.
There has been an emerging urban trend of people spending less time in at home and more time out in public. The boutique design concept focuses on this behavior pattern which ultimately means personal, high-end service in a comfortable environment.
A blossoming flower made out of GRP composite connects the interior foyer space to the outside while separating itself from the commotion of the city. The central piece above is hard to miss as light reflects off the flowing zinc surfaces to optimize the boutique experience.














Alice Hellyar is an Architect and Craftsperson in the Columbia River Gorge of the Pacific Northwest, where she has practiced since 2011. Her work includes custom residential design with a focus on site specific homes. She is continually exploring the relationship between the natural world and the built world, which inspires her work. Alice is licensed in Oregon and Washington and is an AIA member. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech.
