Before I Die, in 2009, Artist Candy Chang, from New Orleans, started the first public chalkboard around a theme called “Before I die, I want to …” . So far people has expressed wishes regarding traveling, love and the well being of family members. Some of those answers are ‘I want to become a pilot’, ‘I want to build sustainable home’ and ‘go on an epic journey.’
Since then the project has been repeated in 450 cities around the world. Arch2o believes that now is the time for designers and architects across the globe to have a say. Asking designers and architects what they want to see or do before they die, can certainly act as a catalyst for some interesting responses.
