The project is based in Hackney Wick (Swan Wharf) on the river Lee next to Olympic Stadium. The site is well-known from artists and designers living there. The place for long time has been industrial heart of London. However gradually it become a home for creative people since economic crises. The idea for the design was to create a place of production for community.
Hackney Wick has a lot of brewing companies around the site, which made me think to design a space were people could gather and brew their own tastes of beer. The project name is : Brewing Beer Laboratories – for creating new tastes of beer.
