Bakery, Paulo Merlini Arquitectura has recently completed a bakery in Gondomar, Portugal. The designers like to think of their interventions as a positive manipulation of the human brain.
Three different environments in the bakery do not force the occupant to adapt, but rather offer freedom for him or her to select a space that best fits their mood. A system of wooden stripes descends from the ceiling through the walls, offering the customer a direct dialog with the space.
