Applied: Research Through Fabrication Competition Results and Exhibition by yo_cy
TEX-FAB, a non-profit organization formed by Brad Bell, Kevin McClellan, and Andrew Vrana, commissioned Cast Thicket; a competition for those in the field of parametric modeling. The winning entries were displayed during the APPLIED: Research through Fabrication Exhibition which took place in the first week of March.
The exhibition formulated a unique opportunities for students to meet some of the leading names in the field from both an academic and practice background. Some of the prominent names that were present for lectures and talks includes; Jon Bailey, Ben Compton and Ryan Gathmann of HKS | Line Studio and Travis McCarra from Buffalo Design Co.
