Arch2O is pleased to announce the 30 winners of our Student week 6, as we start the public voting period. The general public will have the chance to vote on the top 5 projects (Finalists) between the period of 1st – 22nd of September. Our Student Week 6 marks the second year of the competition that was first established in 2012 to recognize students’ outstanding ideas through the novel use of design technology, materials, aesthetics, and spatial organizations.
Arch2O received over 825 projects from 23 countries across the continents. Our evaluation criteria focused on three main aspects; the level of creativity, clarity, and the quality of the presentation. Needless to say that we have made huge efforts to come up with these 30 projects, and I would like to seize the opportunity to thank our team in Egypt, Mohamed Nagy, Heba Moo’anis and Dina Elmalky, who were working under stressful conditions to handle this huge amount of projects in an adequate time frame.
After the public voting ends in 22nd of Sept, 23.59 pm, the top five projects will receive finalists’ certificate from Arch2O, and two of them will receive a 3 months internship in Coop-himmelblau office, in Vienna, while the rest of the participants will receive semifinalist certificates from Arch2O.
Again, We would like to thank everyone who participated in our students week 6, and we hope you enjoy our selection of the projects, as we look forward to your participation in the public voting.
