T 005 Cross
Based on the 2008 Yamaha Scorpio, Thrive Motorcycle has created T 005 Cross, a custom made aluminium version of the original. The whole geometry of the design ensures a futuristic look from an 1980’s movie. The new material was picked with the purpose of reducing , while offering an industrial look to this new vision. The customer is a graphic designer, “a kind of person who always wonders how to put ideas and function at the same place”, which resulted in a perfect motorcycle to be used on the road in bad weather conditions, while maintaining a “beauty and sleekness nature from the owner’s thoughts”.
A real work of art, the T 005 Cross has the original engine, with a few replaced parts, while the entire casing was replaced in order to ensure protection on the road. With every detail carefully designed and customized, the squared motorcycle has quite a few surprises to unveil, including an encased smartphone, as a replacement for a dashboard.
