Helix is a diffuse furniture system designed by OSW (Open Source Workshop) for the 2014 Milan Design Week. It is continuous furniture that can occupy simultaneously any vertical or horizontal surface and characterizes the interior space. Its form recalls a natural system that springs from the structure beneath.

By following the concept of spatial branching and growth the model can be gathered in different forms. It is modular and can vary in size, color, use, and orientation. It makes the space allowing the viewer to follow the visual continuous.

HELIX is made of EPS- expanded polystyrene acquired by corn; it is recyclable and the manufacturing process helps to reduce CO2 emissions allowing the project to be sustainable executed. The structure is lightweight, highly resistant due to the resin finish.
