Parametrium of Contrasts | Miroshkin Michael & Miroshkina Elen by Geometrix Design
Parametrium of Contrasts, the Russian decorators Miroshkin Michael & Miroshkina Elen by Geometrix Design introduce their new project known as “Parametrium of Contrasts” by applying principles of advanced parametric modeling and optimizing the geometrical proportions with the assistance of executive computer-aided programmes and diverse CNC milling techniques.
The wall looks like a solid monolithic component with convoluted curves, because of the lack of space between panels. Thus the room looks ultramodern although the formation seems satisfying by designing the bed corner in a light art deco style and the leather quilted bed with a ceiling-high head, soft and warm lighting. Due to the fact that the architectonic wall is in the epicenter, the designers used a restrained sequence of graphite grey and white.
According to client’s request, a part of the room was allocated for a spacious full-scale walk-in closet. Once you enter the space you can see a mirror cube on the right side. It was decorated with mirrors, so as to visually sustain the proportions of the room & add light from the reflected window. “As for the ceilings, we decided not to do anything about them.
That’s why the luminaries are surface-mounted and easily rotatable. On the one hand, they will lay emphasis on the complex geometry of the wall, on the other hand, they will provide perfect illumination of the room and working area when necessary.

Born and raised in Ukraine, she holds a Master’s degree in Languages from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Her deep passion for architecture and visual storytelling led her to transition from translation and editorial roles into the world of design media. With a keen eye for conceptual clarity and narrative structure, Anastasia curates and presents global architectural projects with precision and flair. She is particularly drawn to parametric and digital design, cultural context, and emerging voices in architecture. When I’m not analyzing the latest architectural trends, you’ll probably find me searching for hidden gems in cityscapes or appreciating the beauty of well-crafted spaces. After all, great design—like great connections—can be found in the most unexpected places. Speaking of connections, because architecture isn’t the only thing that brings people together.
