Ribs Bench | Stefan Lie
What can I say? The curvature of the ribs have a sort of entasis which is good. It’s good. Straight up and down would have been worse. The Ribs Bench, designed by Stefan Lie and produced by DesignByThem is a versatile multibench, constructed of steam bent hardwood. Also, it’s probably nicer that it is curved. The fluid forms achievable by an adjustable aluminum spine are very lumbrician. There is are round worms, flat worms, tape worms, arrow worms. There’s ring worm, and bristle worms. I know of no box worms. And it’s not just one bench and you’re done. Multiple benches can be combined to create a lone fluid bench in larger spaces.
