There really isn’t much to say, Brickwork by Daniel Widrig speaks for itself. Particularly when one learns that it is in fact constructed of chipboard. Yes, chipboard. That damning modeling material that is only better than cardboard because it lacks corrugation. One might exclaim ‘but chipboard is so thin! How can this be?! It looks carved’ And I would be forced to answer ‘I don’t know. It does look carved.’ Even the apparent cut lines do not provide and straight explanation. The chipboard I know doesn’t fold that well or easily.
