Plissé, is a technique in high fashion for creating a permanently puckered/crinkled look in fabric used for dresses or other garments. Plissé Cloud is a glass collection composed of chandeliers and a room divider, conceived by the French fashion designer Maurizio Galante and executed by Lasvit. The connection is obvious. Drawing inspiration from the designers previous uses of the technique in his couture collections, the waved panes appear to have been floated out onto plaster moulds, cooling in the iconic forms.

The three-piece collection is currently being featured in the Lasvit Constellation exhibition as part of Milan Design Week 2013.
