Inflated Bridge in Paris | AZC

The architecture studio AZC has created a bridge ephemeral trampoline under the 2012 edition of the contest of ideas ArchTriumph. This competition concept envisions an inflated overpass that does not encourage walking, cycling or any other common forms of pedestrian transportation. Instead, it is comprised of trampolines that would have people jumping across. This inflatable floating bridge project would consist of three buoys giant 30 meters in diameter and 94 meters long. With their eyes set on a strip near the Bir-Hakeim bridge, AZC wants their blow-up bridge to be a place where anyone can engage with their surroundings, and experience Paris like never before.
