Winner of 2017 American Architecture Awards Revealed

The winning buildings of the 2017 awards have been announced. The jury which was held in Athens and composed of seven Greek architects has selected 79 winners from 300 entries which included buildings, infrastructure, and urban planning projects. The American Architecture Awards are organized by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, and the Metropolitan Arts Press. They are meant to honor the best and most significant architectural, urban, and landscape projects by American architects inside and outside the United States, as well as projects by international practices with operating offices in the US, as long their submitted projects are located inside the country. The winning projects fall under numerous categories, airports and transportation centers, bridges and infrastructures, office buildings, private homes, hospitals, schools, and more. Now, here is a selection of this year’s winning projects.
