Peter Lik , a Las Vegas-based landscape photographer, is one of the most talented photographer out there. Peter is a self-taught landscape photographer who made the journey to the United States in 1984 to photograph landscape in all 50 states. Called the “biggest challenge” of his life, this project took him 5 years, over 50,000 miles and utilized over 1,000 rolls of film. Highlights of this odyssey can be found in his book Spirit of America.
It is amazing how he gets his photos incredibly sharp and crisp. Peter has an uncanny ability to capture “Mother Nature” in her prime (supposedly with zero Photoshop). The colors jump off the page, describing them in one word…. its really “vibrant”.
