A white wolkswagen bug has drowned in a liquid of the same color. This is part of Ivan Puig’s brilliant 2004 installation hasta las narices, which means “up to the nose”. The car is a part of a three piece installation where in the end we discover that the car and the driver are toy figures floating in what seems to be a glass of milk. The aim is to reflect on the proportions of events and its realtivity. The Mexican artist says he is interested in the “proportions of events and their relativity.“
